About Queen Latifah
I was named Queen Latifah because I am the matriarch of a posse of gangsters that arrived at BARC as a family unit!
I am a sweet, affectionate girl who's had a bit of a rough trot lately - What with having a litter of demanding babes hassling me and then ending up here in the shelter, I really am looking for a nice quiet home to call my own, to be able to relax and shower some humans with my love.
I'm a boss babe that oozes confidence and I will make myself at home almost instantly.
Why not come hang out with me for a little bit and see if we click? I'm so ready to join a new posse!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
