About Ivy
This lovely girl is Ivy, a 5 month old Ridgeback x Mastiff. She is a very playful young puppy who has a lot of love to give!
She loves to cuddle with you and spend as much time with you. She needs to be taken for daily walks as she has a lot of energy, she walks well on a lead but still learning to walk calmly.
Ivy enjoys the beach, digging and loves to meet new people and dogs!
Ideally Ivy would be best suited to a home with another large dog preferably male as she is quite a confident pup. She loves to play with older children. Ivy is still learning to interact young children as she can get too excited and doesn’t realise her size.
Ivy is currently being fostered with two cats, and they are learning to tolerate each other. Ivy doesn’t understand the cats don’t always want to play with her.
Ivy will need a secure backyard with tall fencing as she likes to jump.
Ivy is in the process of toilet training and learning basic commands. She still chews on some things that aren’t her toys so would benefit from structured puppy / dog training.
Ivy would love a family who will allow her to sleep inside and include her in everyday family life and outings. Ivy will need another (medium to large) dog to live alongside to learn from, and to be enrolled in obedience classes to ensure she continues to grow to her full and best potential.
Ivy is an extremely intelligent puppy and will need lots of stimulation when left on her own.
Her adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping and first two of 3 vaccinations.
Please enquire if you:
- Have an existing dog (preferably not a small dog)
- Have secure fencing and permission to have a dog in your home
- Will enrol her in obedience classes
- Have a yard
