Benny has a very brave story to share with you all-
Benny was impounded with his 2 brothers as a teen kitty. They were all rescued from death row by Pound Rescue and were placed in foster homes. Benny’s two brothers have since found loving homes.
Tragedy struck Benny when he was captured /stolen from his foster home, then dumped over by the cemetery in west Mackay. 😢😢
He was missing for around 6 weeks.
A tradesman found Poor Benny hurt and contacted Pound Rescue to come and collect him.
He was rushed straight to the vet with a gaping wound under and around his front leg ( from his collar being stuck under the leg)
Benny had surgery and a very long stay at the vet, he was then released into a new foster home to live in a quiet place while his wound healed.
Benny had a second surgery to close the wound some more and was required to wear his leg in a sling.
After a very long recovery of 4 months Benny is now 100% better and is searching for his happy ever after.
