About Polly DL2382
Polly is an adorable smooch, with a gentle and loving nature.
She's well behaved and knows 'sit' and 'come', and is working on 'stay'. She sits for dinner and will wait with dancing feet until given the ok to eat.
Sweet Polly can be startled by unexpected noises and movements. Her foster family have been working to help desensitize her, so you'll need to continue the practice and keep up the good work.
Polly is very social with people and wants to meet every woman she can. She is quite timid around men, but happy to accept pats. Polly likes kids, but can be scared by the unpredictable movement of small kids, so she is better matched with older family members. She is looking for a home where she can be your only pet.
Polly loves her morning walks or joining you for a good long run. She is quite the scent hound and will follow an interesting smell. You'll need strong arms and to practice lead work with Polly, as she can pull (and is still learning how to pass motorbikes).
As Polly doesn't love being left alone, you'll need to work on this with her. Someone who is home more often is ideal so you can work with her at her own pace. When she is left on her own for short periods of time she is most content indoors where she can settle on her bed.
Polly has a playful nature and will happily be your shadow. If she sounds like the girl for you, please email DFL to apply!
