Addie

Addie is a very sweet natured, playful, gentle girl who adores people and playful dogs. She considers herself as an over-sized lapdog. Her breed is anyones guess but she wears an unmistakable gorgeous ridge, of backwards facing fur on her back.

She was timid when she first arrived into foster care but her tail never stopped wagging. Addie has since settled in very fast and currently is in foster care with a playful male dog.

She is an active pup and loves your attention. Addie would do well in a house with another playful dog, part time worker or an array of toys to keep her occupied while you are gone.

She is learning quickly 'come', 'sit' and 'wait' for her food. Addie is very food motivated and would benefit from further training and more dog socialising. She has not been tested with cats in the household but shown a lot of interest in the neighbourhood cats.

Addie must be allowed to sleep inside at night to have the secure, home comforts she so deserves and currently sleeps throughout the night on her mat in the foster carers bedroom with no problems.

Being a puppy, she is constantly learning the do's and dont's of household life, so positive reinforcement is an absolute must for this smoochy girl to grow into a happy, polite adult.

As with any new doggie family member learning where they now live, a secure yard with high fences and supervision when she is in the yard is important in the early stages.
