SweetPea 💞

This gorgeous girl needs our help....SweetPea had taken up residence with a lovely lady for the past 7 years on a property in Warnervale. Although she is very much loved, SweetPea certainly chose her......Unfortunately, she has had to sell her home and moving to a granny flat, where she can't have pets. SweetPea is comfortable with both mum and daughter, but the trust has grown over time. She is extremely timid around new people and will disappear with the sound of a male voice.

Knowing how timid this sweet little girl is and how comfortable she is in 'her home', her owner is extremely concerned about the stress she will go through when moving house. If we can find her the perfect home, without bringing her into foster care (which will be an extra move), that will be the ideal outcome for this darling girl.

Please read through what she needs.....we have a deadline (Wednesday 22nd January) due to her owners home being sold/settlement happening and need to focus on those enquiries most suitable. If all else fails, she will be coming into foster care, but avoiding this would most certainly be in SweetPea's best interest.

She will need a quiet home with minimal adults and no young children. She's not a fan of dogs and wary of other cats, so an only cat home would be ideal. She's a very gentle and kind girl and responds well to gentle handling and calm voices. SweetPea is just terrified of those she doesn't know. You will need to understand that she will take time (possibly months) to settle, but has never been aggressive in anyway. She will most likely find a little hiding spot and stay put until she feels safe and begins to earn your trust.

For the past 7 years, SweetPea has lived on the property (outside mainly), but for the past 7-8 months, she has spent her nights inside. Once she has your trust, she will be your best friend and devoted companion. She likes to chill out on the lounge with you watching TV, snuggles into a dressing gown in Winter, or curls up under your arm or against you. She purrs to show her delight.....

SweetPea loves to chase balls and follow you around the house and garden. She has a lovely little meow and is extremely clean. She is fully litter trained, never having any issues with toileting when inside the home. She is currently eating Purina ONE Adult dry food (Salmon & Tuna) and this seems to be the only food she will eat.

If only we could find her another little property to call home....

We would love nothing more than to find this sweet little girl a new forever home. She comes Microchipped, Desexed and Vaccinated and currently located in Warnervale on the Central Coast NSW.
