About Jake ~ sweet Border Collie x puppy
Jake is a handsome, long-legged, loving 9 week old Border Collie X puppy with energy to burn. He loves love and will squeeze in as close as he can for cuddles.
Jake loves learning and can already sit and wait for his food, showing fantastic attention during training. He does get the zoomies and will need space to run around and play. He has just learnt to chase a ball and is even returning it (most of the time).
Jake happily sleeps in his bed in the laundry with his brother and sister. He goes to the toilet outside with regular reminders or on a pee pad during the night. He is very curious and follows his foster mum and dad from room to room to check everything out and to make sure he knows what they are doing. Jake would love it if someone was home during the day, or he would need another dog in his home who will enjoy his energetic play. Jake is very interested in new experiences and has met small children and sniffed a cat through the fence with no problems.
Jake will grow up to be a medium sized dog, and needs to attend puppy training classes and continued training. He needs to go to a family that can provide lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Jake needs to be welcomed inside when people are home and be allowed to be involved in his new family’s life. His sweet nature, intelligence and loyalty will make him the ideal addition to a loving family.
As Jake is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Jake, please contact Sarah-Jane at s-j.hazell@bigpond.com . Jake is in the Maitland area, NSW (west of Newcastle. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Jake's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
