Hi friends!
My name is Tanny, and I'm on the hunt for my perfect forever home! But first, a little about me...
I'm 5 years old and have spent a few months in foster care where I have been a very good boy, learning manners and how to be a real 'doggo'. My coat is beautiful and black with some very handsome silver eyebrows. Foster Ma tells me I have the most beautiful big brown eyes (all the better to coax treats from her!). I love people, young and old, and want nothing more than to follow you around the house in the hope of getting a scritch or two!
My foster brother (another male greyhound) has been teaching me all the important parts of pet life, however I am still very new to this so sometimes I need a bit of extra support. I can be a bit nervous around big, loud things (like thunderstorms, but who isn't?!), roller doors and big stomping shoes. But my foster parents believe that if I had someone to keep me company, I would very quickly get over these fears. For this reason, I would be best suited to a family who either had another doggo, or were home more often than not.
I would make a greyt family dog as I have had positive interactions with children. I have also met some small dogs (a female Jack Russell and male shitzhu) and I was on my best behaviour, plus have made friends with lots of bigger doggos too. I am a good boy when out and about on walks and can understand some basic commands like 'heel' and 'stay'.
All I want from my forever home is a nice warm bed, some snacks (I loooove carob!) and plenty of attention. In return, I'll give you the softest coat to pat, and a very boop-able nose. Give me and chance, and I'll love you for life!
