Hey everyone!
My name is Leandro/Lee.
I am a bouncy, playful boy who spends 8hrs a day at home with the other dogs, while my mum is at work. I just hang out in the yard and play with them. There are also chickens here, who I get along with well, although sometimes I yell at them if they make weird noises! I am also used to horses. I sit quietly in the car and am a good traveler, and was perfectly behaved at the vet. I currently live behind a 5ft fence and show no signs of wanting to escape. I know come, sit, and my name. We are working on others!
I sleep in a crate at night, wake around 6am and my toilet training is going well. My favourite toys are squeaker and rope toys, but all toys are fun to me! I am always up for a wrestle or game of tag with the other dogs. We aren't 100% sure on my exact breed mix, but I am almost grown at 30kg so am med-large. Mum is mid thigh height on adult humans, but my litter seem to be a bit shorter than she was. Maybe we are staffy x? Either way, breed doesn't really matter. All you need to know about me, is that I am very loyal, loving, energetic and intelligent. I will be a beautiful pet for any family. I look forward to being taken out on walks or park sessions 4 times a week, and would love a dog friend to be at home with during the day.
So what do you think - could I be the one for you? Apply for me now; cuties like me don't last long!
Medical notes
When I was 6 months old, I ran into a fence playing, and broke my leg. It was the top of my tibia; a little piece came off. I had it pinned back and had several weeks recovery time in my crate. I handled it well and made an absolutely fantastic recovery and am now fully recovered and clear to be adopted, with no further treatment required. My vet says I will live a long and happy life, and the only issue to be expected in future from this break, is the chance of aches and pains as I get older. I eat a great quality diet (Blackhawk biscuits, approx $6/kg) and should stay on a good diet to keep me lean, healthy and strong, as is standard with any dog my size or bigger!

Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the OTC Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal. We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applicants may meet the animal. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the pet at your home, or in a public place. If you have other pets they must be at the meet. You may be required to travel to the pet; we infrequently have admins available to drive extensive distance and it also says a lot if someone is able yet unwilling to come to the animal they have applied for. If for example you cannot drive, feel free to talk with us about possibility of travel to you.
At the meet if you and the pet get along you have the option of either taking the pet on the spot (in exchange for signed contract and the full adoption fee paid upfront) or placing the pet on hold for up to 2 days with a $100 non-refundable holding deposit. This deposit is then taken off the original adoption fee should you proceed with the adoption. Should you place a hold, we will not proceed other applicants until you have removed your hold or adopted the animal.
*PLEASE NOTE we do not hold pets without a non-refundable holding deposit of $100. If you are unwilling to put a deposit on the pet, we will continue to advertise and speak with other potential adopters, so you may miss out. We have had to make the deposit is non refundable to avoid time-wasters. The $100 holding deposit is then subtracted from the outstanding adoption fee, which is to be paid at collection of the pet. Eg if full adoption fee is $450, and you place a $100 holding fee on the animal- the day you collect the pet you will sign an adoption contract and pay the remaining $350 fee of which $75 is non-refundable.
All animals are adopted out with vaccinations up to date; if for example you are adopting a young animal it may not have had a full protocol yet due to age- so any vaccinations due from date of adoption are the ethical and financial responsibility of the adopter. During the trial period, should the pet become ill, you must notify OTC, and present it to the OTC-approved vet clinic we direct you to in your area. OTC will cover any treatment needed at our authorised clinics.
So. Ready to roll? Then fill out the attached short form, and we will be in contact to successful applicants asap. Feel free to follow us up via Facebook page inbox. (www.facebook.com/offthechaink9)
