About Raven 😍
Meet the beautiful baby girl Raven
This gorgeous little girl was born into the rescue by his Mummy Jewel who is a heeler x .
She came into the rescue pregnant so we are really unsure of the father but at a guess he was a staffy
Jewel is a sweet and loving girl who is wonderful with kids cats and dogs
Raven has now had his first and second puppy vaccinations , is desexed, wormed every 2 weeks since birth , hearts worm prevention treatment and flea treated.
Our baby is Micro chipped and we also pay for the transfer into the new home name
She has been in foster care with other dogs , children and cats
Raven was the smallest of the litter, yet she has the biggest personality and the most energy. She playfights the most, is the roughest, and wants the most attention. I am yet to have the luxury of having her sleep on or near me, so I would love to see how her behaviour changes when she becomes the centre of attention. She is going to need a very active person/family with plenty of time to spend with her. She is a lot of fun to be around, play with, and just to watch.
I highly recommend puppy training, and rules and routine from day 1. She has been raised with cats, her siblings, children, and other dogs, so her social skills are well balanced and she is definitely not afraid to approach other animals. With her outgoing personality, continued socialisation will benefit her fantastically so she doesn’t become destructive or niece about other animals.
Toys, and toy rotation is a great idea, and be aware anything at her level is fair game. Discipline has been a spray bottle at this point in time. Puppy training will help. We have been avoiding squeaking toys so she doesn’t get excited by the noise of pain, so she still understands from playing with her siblings, if you yelp, she has gone too far. I recommend staying away from squeaking toys. Teething will set in around 6 months of age, so be prepared.
Raven has been partially toilet trained using a doggy door. She knows to go outside using that, but otherwise, she will need training. She is yet to have a collar or a lead, or sleep inside, so they will be all new experiences to share.
Rogue will be an amazing companion. She shows herself to be loving, loyal, full of energy, just like someone’s best friend or sibling. She will need daily loving attention, exercise, plenty of toys and as with all pups, and a bit of patience as she learns the boundaries, goes through teething, and grows.
Please don’t apply if you can’t offer her a nice large yard, plenty of activity, and the time she needs.
