About Latte
Little Latte is finally up for adoption!
**strictly indoor only home**
Latte is a true gentleman and would make the perfect companion leading up to and including this Valentine’s Day ❤️
He’s a beautiful, gentle (although a bit clumsy sometimes) boof head. He has the sweetest soul and the biggest purring motor. He looks right into your eyes when you talk to him and when he talks to you. We are super attached to him so he needs a special home!
He’s been raised in a home with kids, dogs and other cats since he was 4 weeks old so is well socialized and thinks he’s a little human!
He has the most unique caramel coloring he really is a beautiful soul inside and out!
MEDICAL NOTES
The whole litter came in to care infested in fleas and had a parasite in their blood causing anemia, after a month on antibiotics they are now fully vetted and ready to find their forever homes this weekend! Please read to the end for more information on the parasite.
Lattes sister Polly is also up for adoption
They are both desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated
Adoption fee $170 each or $300 for the pair
Located in West lakes
****Fact sheet on the parasite for adopters***
As kittens we had Mycoplasma Felis, Many cats who live outside probably have this and you would never know unless they had a weaker immunity.
What is it- a parasite in the blood which attacks the red blood cells
Is it contagious- only to other cats via fleas
Symptoms- lethargy, pale gums, decreased appetite
Treatment- one month on antibiotics
We have been treated and finished our antibiotics a few weeks ago. In rare occasions in the future cats can have “flare ups” when they’re really stressed or run down. If I display any symptoms please tell the vets I had this as a kitten so they know to check to see if it has come back, then I can go on antibiotics to clear it up before I lose too many red blood cells. To test me they need a PCV and blood smear, I was previously tested at Greencross vets Paradise.
If I’m adopted into an only cat household- I need to be kept indoors only to reduce my risk of catching fleas, and I need to be treated with a spot on flea treatment anytime you see fleas (this is also the case if I’m adopted with one of my siblings)
If I’m adopted into a multi cat household- I need to be kept indoor only but I also need a good quality monthly spot on flea treatment each month to prevent me from getting fleas in the first place so it never has a chance to spread
Thank you for giving a special kitty like me a home ❤️❤️
