About Boris
Boris is an adorable 12 month old Staffy X looking for a new place to call home. He has a beaming smile, wagging tail and will quickly melt your heart with his amazing personality.
He is thriving on the love and attention he is receiving at the Animal shelter. He is smart and has shown that he loves learning and pleasing you. He is being taught basic commands such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’ and slowly being climatised to being walked on a lead.
Boris is a friendly, playful boy who enjoys meeting people & new doggy friends. He is slowly being taught to not jump up when he is excited, but based on his personality traits he would be suitable for a home with children and other dogs. He has not been tested with other animals such as cats at this stage.
He is patiently waiting for his forever home and would love to meet you soon.
Adoption details
The adoption process at the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is relatively easy. We ask that if you are interested in a animal, please attend our Shelter in Goulburn to meet the animal and the Ranger team so that we can make sure that the animal is the right match for you. We do not take expressions of interest over the phone or via email.
Once you have decided on which future pet you would like to adopt from the Shelter, all that is required by you is to make a payment at the Animal Shelter by either eftpos or credit card, provide details for the microchip and registration paperwork and then pick up your future pet from the Council veterinary service provider once they have been de-sexed and vaccinated (Council staff will advise you when the animal is booked in at the veterinary clinic. This usually falls within 14 days of the purchase).
The following are the re-homing fees for dogs and cats,
Entire Dog (to be desexed after adoption) - $280.00
De-sexed Dog (de-sexed by previous owner) - $180.00
Entire Cat (to be desexed after adoption) - $200.00
De-sexed Cat (de-sexed by previous owner) - $120.00

Microchipping (identification details will be placed on the NSW Companion Animal Register)
Lifetime Registration (within NSW)
Vaccination
Worm Treatment
Vet Check
De-sexing (if required)
Please Note: All dogs and cats rescued from the Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter are required to be de-sexed. Dogs and cats will not be sold as entire under any circumstances.

Please Note: The Goulburn Mulwaree Animal Shelter is closed on Sundays and all public holidays.
