About Sam
Sam is an intelligent, affectionate and handsome young man full of energy and enthusiasm. He loves to run and play with other dogs and has been sociable with everyone he has come across at the park. He is a clever boy and a very fast learner. Sam is good off lead and has a consistent recall, but he is still young and will really benefit from someone investing further training. He wants to please and would excel at sports like agility or flyball. Sam sits for his food and is very gentle at taking treats. He enjoys playing in water and doesn’t mind being bathed. Sam is a good traveller in the car, always happy to hop in the back seat and has learnt to wait for permission before getting out. He is very excited to see you at first, but he is learning that the only way to get attention is to be calm. Because of this initial excitement, older children or teenagers would suit Sam better as he could accidently knock over little ones. Sam enjoys having a cuddle in the evening but is happy to settle outside for the night, so long as he has a warm bed and is properly sheltered. Being a quick learner, you could easily train this boy to be an inside lap dog though! Sam wouldn’t suit a home with resident cats as he wants to chase them. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
