I'm a naturally playful, curious, and trusting canine. Take me for a big walk every day; give me something to do. After my job's done, I'll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings.

MY IDEAL HOME: Hi everyone! My name is Mako. I would suit a family that will allow me to be in all of their adventures. I would really benefit from being taken to force free training classes to work on my foundation behaviours and build a bond with my new family. I have been around children but due to my size older children would suit me best. My new family will need to leave me with lots of fun toys and enrichment puzzles during the day to keep my active mind busy.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Active

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I have met other dogs before but prefer my own space. I will need to be the ONLY dog in my new home. If you have a cat at home please talk to my shelter parents about how best to introduce us safely.
I am desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with parasite prevention. I have lots of love to give, please come and meet me as soon as you can.
