I was surrendered to Lort Smith when my carers could no longer provide me with the activity that I so desperately require.

I am an extremely active, inquisitive and loving young girl and I  would love nothing more than finding a new home where my humans will provide me with daily walks, play time and mental enrichment.

At the end of the day, when I’m no longer bouncing around and full of energy, I love cuddling up with my human companions and falling asleep watching TV.

Although my interaction with other dogs is improving, I still need to work on my manners - especially the introductions. I tend to get too excited, invade their space and bark - some dogs may take my approach the wrong way.

Admittedly, I love all the attention placed on me so a home with no other animals would be perfect!

If my new adopters were home more often than not, that would be wonderful as I don’t much like being left by myself for too long! 

I can get a little worried with new people when they first greet me, try to pick me up and pat me, so I will need a carer that will work on building up my confidence. This is the reason that a home with no very young children would be the best fit for me. I would be more suited with children 12 years of age or older.

I will be adopted out with a medical disclaimer for my leg. It’s nothing major that requires any type of treatment at this stage, and the Adoption Centre staff would be more than happy to tell you more about this.
