About Georgie ~ Border Collie x puppy (On Trial 24/1/20)
Hi! My name is Georgie and I am a 9 week old Border Collie X puppy. My foster mum says I’m a sweet, playful puppy who has a loving nature.
I love playing with my foster siblings and running around the backyard chasing my toys. After I’ve done that I like to come inside and cuddle with my foster family. I’m currently being toilet trained and, if you remind me, I won’t have an accident inside. I currently sleep in my foster mum's room and wake up twice a night to go to the toilet.
I’ll grow up to be a medium sized dog, and would need to attend puppy training classes and continued training. I would also need to go to a family that know I will need to have a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. I will need to go to a home with another dog, particularly if my new family work full time. I’ve been socialised with other dogs and love being around them.
I would be your best friend that never leaves your side! I need to be welcomed inside when people are home and be allowed to be involved in my new family’s life. A home with children older than 8 would be great. You will need good fencing with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire) is not suitable.
My brother Billy is also available for adoption.
I can’t wait to meet my forever family!

(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
