Billy ~ Border Collie x puppy (On Trial 24/1/20)

Hi! My name is Billy and I am a 9 week old Border Collie X puppy. I love nothing more than being around my humans, playing with my foster siblings and playing with toys. I’m a ball of energy and love running around.

My foster mum says I’m a pretty smart boy- I learnt how to use the doggy door on my first night and know how to sit. I’m currently being toilet trained and if you remind me, I won’t have an accident inside. I currently sleep in my foster mums room and am waking up twice a night to go to the toilet. My foster mum says I’m a sweet boy and that any family would be lucky to have me in their lives.

I’ll grow up to be a medium sized dog, and would need to attend puppy training classes and continued training. I would also need to go to a family that know I will need to have a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. I get lonely when my foster mum leaves for work, but it’s okay because I have my foster siblings around. For that reason, I will need to go to a home with another dog, particularly if my new family work full time.

I’ve been socialised with other dogs and love being around them. I need to be welcomed inside when people are home and be allowed to be involved in my new family’s life. A home with children older than 8 would be great. You will need good fencing with no small gaps, unfortunately rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire) is not suitable.

My sister Georgie is also available for adoption.

As Billy is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.

Billy's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
