About George
Hi, my name is George, I am one happy, lovable little guy.
Since I have come into care my true personality has been able to shine, I love the company of my humans and fur brother and sisters (medium/large breeds), my foster Mum always says that I am a big dog in a little dog’s body.
I love to go for my daily walks, and I will do 360’s to show you my excitement, but once my harness and lead are on, I do walk well. I can at times be reactive to other dogs that are reactive to me, it is a work in progress.
My other love apart from snuggling up to my humans is playing fetch, oh my goodness can it get any more fun than sprinting for a ball big or small and waddling back but maybe not willingly giving it up 😀 .
I do enjoy the comforts of indoor living and have lovely inside manners and use the doggy door when I need to go out to relieve myself. One of my favourite things to do is simply spending time with my humans whether it be you watching tv and me snoozing next to you on the lounge or snuggled up to you in bed.
I do miss my humans when they go out and I will try my best to make you feel guilty for going out without me, but I am okay if I have a fur brother or sister to keep me company. I probably would prefer someone who is home often though.
I am a pretty chilled out little guy unless my older fur brother is in alert mode, then I turn into his noisy wingman until my foster Mum becomes the fun police and tells me no ☹
Foodwise, hmm I did say I enjoy the finer things in life did I not. Well I do enjoy roast chicken, boiled chicken and rice, beef strips and nice meaty bones.
My ideal family would be home often and would want to include me as an important part of the family. A happy, friendly fur sibling for me to play with and to keep me company when you go out would be awesome too. If children are in the equation, I think I would prefer older children that know how to treat me with love and kindness.
If you think I may be the perfect fit for you, please submit an application so my people can hook you up for chance to meet with me 😀

If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
