About Bubbles
Gorgeous big man Bubbles is looking for a new home he can hop straight into.
This handsome tripod may be missing a limb but anything he lacks in legs, he makes up for in personality!
Bubbles is a great big smooch. He loves to rub all over you, he has a huge purr and if you give him a soft blankey he'll start kneading and making puddings like a mad man.
Sadly, Bubbles' owners separated and no one could take him with them so he was left behind to fend for himself. Luckily a kind neighbour started feeding him and was then able to arrange for him to come into SAFE's care.
Bubbles has lived with dogs and children in the past and would be happy to do so again.
His initial reaction to other cats is not a friendly one - with a slow and sensible introduction he may be happy to share a home with another feline but we feel that a younger/smaller female cat might be the best shot.
Otherwise, he will be very happy as your only cat.
Bubbles needs to be an indoor-only cat, to keep him safe due to his physical limitations and his pale colouring. But he's such a snuggle bug you wouldn't want to let him out of your sight!
Although he's generally super friendly, Bubbles doesn't like people to touch his amputation site (aka his stump) - which is fair enough! Any small children living or interacting with him will need to be reminded to be gentle when picking him up.
At the mature age of 8, we think Bubbles is in his prime! He's fit and healthy and absolutely gorgeous.
This handsome tripod can't wait to meet his new family.
(Bubbles' adoption fee is $100. He has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and vet checked. He is clear of FIV and FeLV. His leg was amputated many years ago by his previous owners after an unforunate car accident, so he is very capable of getting around!)
