About Lara
Lara
Not cat friendly
Could live with other Medium/Large canine friends but also as an only pet as well.
Part time or full time home
Lara is a pretty little girl, at only 28 kgs she has lots of energy at times and certainly isn't letting her age catch up with her.
You wouldn't even guess she is 8 years old, has many years ahead to look forward to with a family who will offer a fair but firm hand and lots of cuddling and patting which Lara just loves.
She gets so excited when it is walk time, rushing out the door ready for an adventure, and settles well when told to "settle" or "go quietly". You see Lara took a little while to realise how wonderful "pet life" is, and is progressing well at her own pace.
Lara is a happy and affectionate girl who loves to shadow her people. She is happy to lie down once her people have settled in their chairs. She is very keen to please and is such a clever girl.
She knows the command "stand" whilst on leash and "stay" outside when her people go inside. She is happy and quiet outside, she is a little hesitant with strangers, and may bark when they are entering your property, but is not aggressive, just a great watch dog! In saying that though, Lara loves to be inside as well and is a very clean and quiet girl.
Lara is a strong walker, a harness would be ideal for Lara as she is so inquisitive and excited whilst out walking, she can lunge at times, so her people just need to be aware of this and gently correct her.
In saying this, a family with older children/ teenagers and adults would be a great fit for Lara, with full time workers or part time workers. Lara is just having a wonderful time and appreciating just how good life is.
She is a sweet girl who will just love you so much and be so happy to join in with all your family activities. She loves playing with her people as well as her fluffy toys, and is funny to watch when she is attacking them.
Open your heart to this girl and she will right back at you!
