A day after Zoey arrived into our care she went in to labour - delivering three healthy kittens. Despite living on the streets, Zoey was a natural at being a mum; she doted on her kittens and raised them very well.

We took Zoey in after she was trapped in a garage in Lynbrook. She was distressed and very heavily pregnant. Amazingly, Zoey took to being in foster care right away, and she had spent most of her time with us doing mum duties. Well, all that has changed now for Zoey. Her kittens have grown up and in homes of their own - and it is Zoey's turn to embark on her new kitten-free life.

Zoey is a bit shy, but she is easily picked up, so you can shower her with your affections. She had been used to fending for herself as part of a colony of street kitties, where she was beaten up and picked on. This made Zoey a bit wary of other cats and of people initially. But all that changed with motherhood.

Zoey loves to find a quiet and warm space to chill out and enjoy her own company. She is a bit independent, but that's great if you're looking for a girl to be by your side and not always in your space. She is very loyal and very grateful to you for being able to relax and not worry anymore.

Zoey would suit a quieter home and would be fine with another cat or dogs with the proper slow introductions. This is one girl who really deserves a second chance at a good life. We want her desperate, sad and hard street life days to be over for good.

*Our foster-to-adopt program means you can look after Zoey in your home, feed her and love her, while we take care of her medical expenses as well as flea and worm treatments. Then, if it all works out, Zoey can be your forever kitty at an agreed price.
