About Leelah
Chilled, stress-free and polite husky on your list? Then you simply must meet the delightful Leelah! This little lady is often mistaken for a pup, thanks to her bright personality, despite her sensible age of 8 years old. If we were to describe her in one word, it would be ‘polite’.
On the topic of politeness, Leelah is good on lead and will sit before crossing the road. She can play nicely with other dogs but she mostly isn’t too interested in them. She’s happy to have a sniff and then move off on her merry way.
Leelah loves her walks, whether they’re short or long, and would stay out all day if you let her. But, when it’s time to come back home and pack up the leash, she’s the most relaxed dog there is. She loves to hang around her people, and will follow you around the house, settling in wherever you are.
She’s a dainty eater, couldn’t care less about storms, travels well in the car, is perfectly housetrained, and loves to snooze on the couch and her bed. Leelah is mostly quiet and enjoys a little sing when its walk time or there’s someone new to meet at home.
Leelah is very well behaved and knows how to sit, stay and is learning to speak on command. She’s all for learning new tricks, if her new people are keen to show her some.
The lovely Leelah is a people magnet and draws attention wherever she does. Then, when she’s home and her ‘chillax’ switch is dialled up to 11, she’s happy to relax around you or by herself. Leelah would suit primary children, that know how to respect her need for calmness.
All Leelah wants is a loving home with scratches ( inner back legs, please!), snuggles, walks and, of course, love.
Leelah still has many, many years to give her new family.
