About Mirana
Hi, I'm Mirana. I have big green eyes and a smooth grey coat, I am very striking to look at, so if my beauty doesn't make you fall in love with me, perhaps my story will...
I had a rough start to life, being bailed out of a country pound with three tiny kittens, all before turning 9 months old! I was a young mum but I was a devoted one, so much so that I busied myself caring for my kittens that my foster humans didn't get t see my true personality until my kittens moved on to their new home.
Like any mother, it was so incredibly hard to let go of my babies, I struggle for a couple of weeks and cried continuously, but with the love of my foster human, I began to live my life for me now. I learned that I love to play! I especially love my ball. My favourite playtime activity is when my humans throw the ball high up into the air and I leap up and catch it!
I also enjoy being petted on my chin, back and neck. I will even flop onto my side for a chest rub, but be careful not to touch my tummy - it is the devil switch that causes me to scratch with my sharp claws!
I am very vocal at food times because i LOVE food! I am not a particularly fussy eater, in fact I will try to eat the dogs food or anything dropped on the floor. I have very good manners and I won't jump onto the kitchen bench.
I live with a dog but I don't really like dogs, so a strictly dog-free home would be ideal.
I like my bed to be next to yours, and to receive lots of love - but on my terms. I have boundaries and these need to be respected, so young children is also a no-no.
I am still learning to trust humans, so as long as my space and boundaries are respected and, I will become a very affectionate and loving companion.
