About Narla
I was surrendered to Lort Smith with some health issues and have spent time in foster care while these were being addressed. I had a fabulous foster carer who gave me everything I needed to thrive, I'm now ready to find my forever home!
The staff and volunteers say I am the sweetest girl. I love nothing more than cuddling up with my human and falling asleep whilst watching our favourite T.V shows together.
I would love an active home, where my family will take me on daily walks, provide mental enrichment and dedicate some time each day to play with me - I do love to play with my human friends!
I would really benefit from dog training classes, not only to learn new skills, but to also build up my confidence.
I can appear a little shy at first but it doesn't take me long to warm up. When I do, I'll rarely leave my human's side - I am incredibly loyal. For now, it's probably best that I go to a home with children aged 12 years and above.
I will need a family that can help me learn appropriate ways in which to interact with other dogs, as I do at times get a little excitable to meet with them and do not realise how rough I can be. I can go to a home with another dog, however that dog would have to be calm, confident and of similar size.
Now for the boring stuff... I will be adopted out with an adoption disclaimer for my knees, sensitive skin and for a lump that I had removed. The Adoption Centre staff will happily discuss this in more detail. *I have a dental check up appointment on 7 February and will be on a soft food diet and antibiotics until this recheck. Moving forward, I will require six monthly dental check ups.*
If you think I sound absolutely perfect for you, please call the Adoption Hub for more information about me and to book in a meet and greet.
