About Hugo
Hi my name is Hugo and I'm looking for love.
My foster mum describes me as a tail wagging snuggling sometimes drooling bundle of puppy love.
My 3 favorite things in the whole world is my people, playing with dog friends and having treats.
I am currently hanging out with other dogs of all sizes and have no issues with them but I am not keen on dogs that are in my face straight away when i meet them i really need a couple of minutes to process meeting them. Then i am awesome to play with - My foster mum thinks I would probably be better with dogs my own size or near (not small tiny ones) as I am a bit clumsy so I may accidentally step on them and hurt them.
I am a good boy and know my manners but as I'm still a pup - I sometimes forgot so I need my furever family to understand and are happy to keep up with my training.
I may not bark if someone turns up but can promise you I will snuggle with you watching tv and keep you warm in winter.
I'm a happy loving boy who just wants to spend my time with my humans whether it be running around the backyard with a smaller human or watching a movie with the family I'm just a easy going boy who loves to gives sloppy bull dog kisses

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
