About Betty
Not cat or small dog friendly
Part time, full time workers
Betty is settling in well in her foster home and she is even indulging in the greyhound pastime of doing zoomies. She is very affectionate and gives great snuggles, by gently putting her face into your body or armpit for complete cuddles. And of course she loves you giving her pats. Betty just loves to make new human friends.
Betty would be fine with a family with children 8 years of age upwards, she is enjoying "pet life" and meeting people.
She remains a very independent lass, enjoys her alone time outside and could suit someone who works full time, but of course part time workers or people working from home would be great for Betty as well.
She travels fine in the car and copes with loud traffic noises when out walking. She is currently living with another greyhound, whom she gets along very well with - he is very gentlemanly towards her and they are willing to share all his beds and toys, etc. However, we think Betty would be fine as an only pet, as she can be quite independent and enjoys being outside for most of the day, despite her companion greyhound remaining an inside dog.
She is still learning to socialise with other breeds of dogs and is not small-dog or cat friendly.
At just over 9 years of age, but so young at heart, she loves her walks and walks well on a loose lead. She is a darling and is so deserving to have a new home to call her own.
