BAXTER - Quiet, engaging and loyal

Baxter is quiet, gentle boy who has really come into his own and gained confidence in his foster home. He is currently living with another dog and is very respectful of her. He is family oriented and protective of them. He loves cuddles and generally being around 'his people'.

This engaging boy loves the outdoors. The beach is one of his favourite places and he literally sings with joy when he's there with his loved ones. Tug-o-war and chasing leaves are his other favourite pastimes. He is also learning how to retrieve.

In his idea home Baxter would have an older, wiser doggy sibling to teach him the ways of the world. Alternately Baxter would love some older children to play with and teach him boundaries and continue his training. He has a great capacity to learn and this will keep his mind active and engaged. Regular exercise and playtime will also keep his body fit and healthy.
