Top o’ the morning to you, I’m wondering if you can help me find a new ‘gaff’? Although my size is more of a wee border collie, my heart is as big as my Irish wolfhound ancestors and I am bursting to fill it up again. Having been bestowed all the best traits from both sides of the family tree, I am extraordinarily intelligent as well as noble, gentle, and affectionate. I spend most of the day in decidedly slow motion, sprawling out in the sun and dreaming of my distant motherland. When the humans return home from work I can’t wait to stretch out with them as we both stroll around the neighbourhood together and chat about the day. I’m a lover of all the wee children who play with me however would prefer older children in the home as they can become a little overwhelming. Nothing pleases me more than bringing joy to their little faces although do get a little skittish when it comes to loud noises. Digging and exploring doesn’t interest me in the slightest but my sniffer works overtime when I get to explore new turns and bends around me – the smells are tantalising! Truth is, I’m just a big softie looking for my pawfect love!
