About Lily
Lily is such a resourceful little girl. Finding herself alone in the local remote NT community during a heatwave, she managed to locate the best place for help - and broke into the house where other puppies were in foster care! She was very thin, thirsty and exhausted in the first few days but with access to food, water and plenty of cuddles she soon bounced back into a bright, happy little puppy. She’s very adaptable and knows which of the big dogs are good for a game and which are too grumpy. She keeps herself busy with toys and things she finds in the back garden. Lily loves a routine, sleeps through the night and is doing well with house training. She particularly loves dinner time. She’s been an easy puppy to help - sturdy, sensible and healthy, she settled quickly into foster care. We estimate she’ll grow into a roughly 20kg dog and will make a wonderful, loyal companion.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally our rehoming operation is in South Australia. Lily’s adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Lily is currently in foster care in Elliott, NT.
