Murphy

Hi, my name is Rocky.

I am 18 month old Jack Russell/Mini Foxie cross. I am quite small, only weighing 7 kilos (not much bigger than an adult cat really). I have been in foster care since a few days before Christmas when I was surrendered by my owner.

I really haven't had much training in my short life, but I am learning very quickly how to walk properly on a lead, how to sit and so much more. My carer said I will need ongoing training to ensure I become the best boy I can possibly be.

I don't bark, I don't dig, I don't climb, but I will still need a secure backyard where I can be left at times and still be safe. I am used to sleeping inside at my carer's house and I have become very accustomed to this, so I would like to sleep inside in my new home. I am really enjoying being part of a family.

The one thing I haven't managed to cope with yet (but I am working on it) is being picked up. Most of the time I am ok with it, but occasionally I do get a bit worried and I can be a bit mouthy. I wasn't picked up very much before.
