Maui is an energetic and intelligent chatty boy, he is eager to please and enjoys training. He responds well to praise and treats. He would suit an active family, he loves his walks and has responded well to lead training. He loves company and other dogs, being a puppy he just wants to play. He can cope with being left alone (especially with stimulating toys and hidden treats) for large periods of time but I think if he could have a home with another dog it would help the time pass when away from his new family. He is great with older kids from around 10+. Its hard to tell if Maui is ok or not with cats, as our resident Kitty will not go near him and causes such a fuss that peaks Maui’s interest, so jury still out on that one.

He is very excited to meet new people and does jump when you first come home, he soon settles, he will also go play by himself with his toys which is really sweet to watch.

Maui is loyal and protective, and loves company, he has brought such joy and energy to our house.
