About Lucy
Lucy is a kind, confident and patient dog. She has been in foster care since November after being rescued from the pound. While she was in care, she has delivered and cared for a litter of 10! She has been a loving and attentive mum, despite her young age of only approx 12 months.
Lucy is medium sized at around 25kg. We are unsure of her breed and often affectionally refer to her as a "NSW Special" a mix of many different breeds from the area she came from with no one breed being identifiable.
Being patient and playful makes her a great buddy to all family members - kids, cats and other dogs. She has never been phased by the dog savvy cat in her first foster home and often lies by his side to sleep. She loves to play with the kids and doesn't jump on them - she loves to rest her head on their shoulders while they are sitting down to give them a hug.
She loves a big cuddle, a good zoom-zoom session or tug a war. She loves to be inside with the family, however Lucy is happy to chill outside if you are busy inside preparing dinner or getting the family organised for work/ school/bed.
At the end of day Lucy likes to plonk herself down near you for pats and belly rubs.
She will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed and is ready to go to her new home!
