Alexander

My name is Alex, or Alexander when my foster mummy tells me to stop annoying my siblings! Funny story about my name; I was named by someone who I never met- a chemist! Whaaaat?! That’s right, when I was really little (like a jelly bean, mums words), I was sick. One of my eyes got really really bad and everyone in the rescue thought I’d loose it or worse!

My mummy had other kittens that had similar eye problems as me (she says I’m the best kitten she has ever had-might I add) and off she went to the chemist for some human eye drops. When my mummy got to the chemist the man behind the desk was shocked, human eye drops for a jelly bean?! No, mummy said, silly chemist, a kitten. The chemist needed a name to put on the bottle. Hmm, mummy thought (mummy is not the best at naming kittens, she once had a kitten called Coconut, silly mummy), the chemist said his son was Alexander, how was that. Yes, mummy said, that will fit nicely!

Now about me, I didn’t purr until I was 10 weeks old, but when I did, I didn’t stop! Also my humans aren’t allowed to be sad, I’ll stop that with a boop of my head on theirs and there! No more sad, or concentrating for that matter... I love humans and I love kittens, I’ve never met puppies but I’m a pretty chill and happy boy! I will follow mummy everywhere, no space or privacy for her!

My ideal home is with someone who is loving and wants a kitten that will grow to them, someone who would like a classic strong kitten type, with a secret cuddly centre.
