About Chibby
This handsome fellow is so nice natured. He loves to play with the other pups, and is really well behaved with bigger dogs too. He has been around lots of different ages of people from birth and is really confident and well behaved with humans. Chibby really loves exploring around outside with his litter mates and will play with sticks and leaves as well as enjoying chasey and wrestling games. He loves the paddling pool and having a spray of cool water too. He is doing very well with house training and getting the idea nicely. Chibby loves his tucker and loves a big sleep too. With his lovely calm nature he will make a great family pet and we can see him being the life of the party at the Dog Park.
Chibby was born in a remote community in the Barkly. His family were leaving town so they asked us to rehome him and his two littermates (Salty and Rani). Mummy dog is only 10 kg or so but dad is a medium size and Chibby takes after him. We expect him to grow to about 20 kg. He and his littermates are clever little things and have been such a pleasure to care for.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Chibby's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Chibby is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
