About Belle
Where to begin with Belle - my little darling. Fostering this kitten has just been an absolute joy, and she's one of those kittens I'll find hard to part with. A stunning dark tabby and white domestic medium hair, Belle has a lovely fluffy coat and tail and she'll no doubt blossom into a stunning adult cat.
Belle was abandoned with her two siblings in a box outside a vet hospital in Western Sydney. Over flowing with kittens, I collected them from the clinic to foster and help find forever homes for. Belle and her litter had clearly never been handled as they were initially very scared and confused by pats and affection from people.
Fast forward a month and Belle cannot get enough of being cuddled! She purrs as soon as you pat her and she is only too happy to be carried around, cradled like a baby and to fall asleep purring on your chest. She's still a tiny bit skittish when you're standing up, but jingle a mouse toy and she'll come running to you. She adores the company of other cats and is completely in love with my adult cat, Rupert. She follows him everywhere and loves when he tackles and grooms her. She'd love a home with another cat.
Like all of the kittens we rescue, Belle is precious. She will only be available to a strictly indoor home, with a responsible family who are willing to commit to keeping her inside. Of course a garden with cat proof fencing and mesh is also wonderful.
Medical notes
All adoption fees include desexing, microchip, as many vaccinations as needed while in care (any needed after adoption will be the responsibility of the new family) fully flea and worm treated and with a ful final health check. However, we cannot guarantee the ongoing health of our cats and kittens once they have left our care.
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
