About Scout
Scout was taken to a rural vet as a ‘stray.’ He had no microchip, and no-one came looking for him during his one week stay at the Pound. He was then released to us for vet treatment and ultimately rehoming.
This poor little pup had a very bad case of mange and most of his fur was gone. He was scratching continuously, and had many sore and bloody areas from scratching. He was also very very thin.
After a visit to the vet, where a skin scraping confirmed the diagnosis, he was given the one tablet he needed to destroy the mange.......yep that is all it would have taken for his previous owners to get him well! Fast forward two days and no more scratching at all.
Scout absolutely loves his regular meals and has put on weight nicely. He is a playful boy, who is great with other dogs and humans alike.
He is now walking nicely on leash and has always travelled really well by car.
He would like his forever home to be one where he can be an inside/outside boy. A home where he is taken for walks and really included in family life, eg weekend sports with the kids, maybe a trip to the coffee shop or a run along the beach.
As he is still only young, he would benefit from puppy school, to teach him how to be the great dog he will grow into.
Please send in an enquire for him and tell us as much as you can about yourself. How long would Scout be alone during the day, if at all? Do you have kids? Any other pets?
We are located in Moree, northern NSW. We have daily flights to Sydney and beyond, also fortnightly road transport. Both of these options are easy to organise, through JetPets (air) and DogMovers (road) at new owners cost.
