About Frankie 🍖
This happy and easy going little man is Frankie ....he's just turned 12 months old and a Terrier mix weighing 5kg. Since arriving in care, he's been living with 3 other small dogs, cats and of course his foster family, which includes young children. Frankie gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and has been living alongside the cats with no issues, but does like to chase them now and then (no aggression shown towards them).
He adores the kids and currently learning all about toys and treats. He loves meeting new people and happy to snuggle with you on the couch or bed. Frankie has always lived with another dog, but would adapt well as an only dog if he had the company of his humans around. He has shown to be somewhat of a barker at times, but will listen to instructions and will let you know if someone is near the house. If he was to be an only dog, he would not cope well in a home where his owners worked full time. This sweet little boy will need either human company or another doggie companion. Frankie will need ongoing training with leash training and basic commands, so experience with basic training will be required.
Frankie is currently living both inside and outside, although does get a little cheeky if given too much opportunity inside and will need ongoing training with toileting outside. He is currently sleeping indoors alongside his furry friends and now that he's settled in, doing quite well with toilet training.
Frankie would be the perfect addition to a home with children who are gentle and respectful of animals, working from home parents or an older retired person. Having another little doggie companion would be wonderful for this little man, but not a deal breaker if he had the company of his humans around.
Frankie has had all his vet work done and ready to find a place to call home. He is located in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast NS

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
