About Bella ~ 6mo Bull Arab x Staffy (On Trial 19/1/20)
Hi, my name is Bella and I'm a 6 month old Bull Arab X Staffy. My foster carer says that I'm such a beautiful, affectionate girl who is so much fun and has so much love to give.
My current foster home has 3 kids ranging from 20 months to 6 years old and I love to play in the yard with them. One of my favourites is to play fetch and I even bring the ball back and drop it! I've also been known to jump up on the trampoline and bounce around with the kids. Mainly I just cruise around the backyard and have adventures with my best friend who is a toddler - we follow each other around for hours.
I love to go for walks with the family and will even walk nicely beside the pram. I currently live by the lake and love to go for a paddle with the family. Although I can be active at times, I also just love to chill out on the couch and snuggle up to my humans for a big old belly rub.
Sometimes I can get a little bit confused about which toys are mine to chew on and which ones are for the kids, but my foster Mum doesn't seem to mind as she thinks the kids have too many toys anyway. It's also taught them not to leave things they don't want chewed lying around. I'm very gentle and kind to the kids and will not even bat an eyelid when my toddler friend steals the doggy biscuits out of my doggy bowl. I am toilet trained and can even use a doggy door. I could do with some basic training in regards to jumping up as I get super excited when my foster family returns home from the school run.
I am protective of my family and can be wary of adult strangers and visitors to the house so I will bark but I settle down quickly when I realise they are no threat. I also live with 2 pet rats and when I first arrived I barked at the cage, but now I've completely lost interest in them. My foster family have only ever had small dogs so they didn't realise I can reach the kitchen bench and steal a few pieces of toast from the kids plate when they're not looking.
I have so much to offer my forever home. You will gain a loving and loyal companion who adores being by your side. I would suit a family or an active single or couple who are home a lot, take me for walks, have a secure yard and want a dog who is allowed to sleep inside and be a member of the family.
