Akita is a fun loving puppy, being a Husky X she is most content playing chasey with others. She has perfect manners around other dogs of all sizes and will not escalate any aggression, instead she will walk off and find something else to do. Akita understands how to play brilliantly, however as a puppy she may not know when to stop or understand what 'tired' is so teaching her that would be ideal.

Akita can sit, drop and shake, she walks okay on a lead but further training is encouraged. Akita has been socialised with cats and absolutely adores them! She will only play if her cat friend wants to or she enjoys just walking up and pushing her nose into their fur. Akita doesn't bark often (only when playing) but if she sees something that really excites her she will let off such a tiny and adorable howl!

Akita has the softest fur and will need regular brushing and/or grooming to maintain its silky feel and look. She is fully house trained and enjoys curling up on your lap for cuddles and kisses! Akita has her hesitations about being in a car but her foster family has started getting her through it, she now freely jumps into the backseat.
