About Dorian
Dorian arrived because her young owner had lost her job and had to move back home. She also was unable to afford to look after her anymore which was very sad, her parents had two small dogs and they were worried for them even though Dorian had not done anything to them. She is a typical Belgian, very clingy and loves being with people preferring not to share unless she has too, although dominant is not aggressive. she loves her toys and playing ball. like all shepherds is super smart, lots of energy and loves a challenge.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
