My name is Billy and my life has recently changed path. I was very close to my beloved owner who sadly passed away. Now I’m looking for a special home with a confident & experienced dog owner who can work with my quirks.
I love walks and drives in the car. I also enjoy playing with balls and toys. I’ve never been around cats. I’m okay around some dogs socially (I don’t like being approached by larger ones), but at home I want to be your one & only.
I should tell you that I’m not comfortable being moved or picked up. If I’m feeling threatened, I could bite in response. So it is important that you and I work together on this, and take introductions to new people slowly. For this reason, I’m best suited to a single person without kids.

Adoption details
ADOPTION:
1. Email DFLadoption@gmail.com to contact our Adoption Team & we will send you an expression of interest form to return
2. Successful applicants will then have a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer, along with a volunteer home visit & fence check, before beginning a trial period with the dog to ensure a great match for all involved.
DFL dogs are vaccinated, micro chipped & desexed prior to adoption (or at 6 months as a condition of adoption).
FOSTER:
If a dog is listed as "Foster Carer Needed", they are looking for a temporary home in Perth metro while their vet work is completed and while they wait for their forever home. They may also be fostered with the view to adoption. Please email us for more information.

2. Foster care applicants will then have a volunteer home visit & fence check, and a 'Meet & Greet' with the dog and their carer/rescue representative, before commencing foster care.
