Rusty

Hi everyone, my name is Rusty!

I was surrendered to Lort Smith as my carers were not able to provide me with the activity and mental enrichment that I needed.

I am a Vizsla, and true to the breed, I have lots of energy to burn, I am inquisitive, a quick learner and have a very quirky personality!

I will need to go to an active home with someone that is able to provide me with multiple daily walks, be able to set aside play time and take me on adventures.

I would also absolutely love to go to dog training, to work on my manners and obedience, this will help me become the absolute best doggo that I can be! I should add that I am a very quick learner and pick up new skills in no time at all!

Unfortunately I will not be able to go to a home with children or the elderly, as I have not learnt appropriate ways in which to interact. I do at times not like being told no, and I have been known to act out inappropriate behaviours, so as you can see, I do need to learn some much needed boundaries.

I can be a little unsure and nervous around some unknown people and in new environments, so someone able to help me build my confidence up, would be brilliant!

I can go with another dog of similar size, however that dog would have to be calm, confident, know how to play and be able to show me the ropes.
