Please note: Buzzy and Bindi will be rehomed together.
These beautiful, good-natured small siblings are a dream to care for and have adapted very well to their new environment while they wait for their forever home. Bindi is a confident girl and the boss of the two, whereas Buzzy tends to be the friendlier of the pair. They have come from a rural area but have adapted well to city life.
Buzzy is more attentive and listens to commands. Bindi’s hearing is not as good as Buzzy’s and it has taken a while for their foster family to teach her that sitting equals treats, but now she gets it.
They both love hanging around their family for some good pats but are not as keen on being picked up or sitting on laps. They are also really content to hang out with each other. Bindi enjoys doing her own thing, and can often be spotted napping in the sun, in a kennel, or under a tree. Bindi is a little greedy and her foster family are perplexed how she can remain so small when she goes from plate to plate. You’ll need to keep an eye on her food intake as Buzzy will let her eat his food.
Both dogs are friendly and calm when they meet either big or small dogs on their walks. They love to get out for their exercise, and make little whiney noises rather than barking. They will happily walk two or three kilometres but do enjoy stopping to sniff and investigate their surrounds. Because of their size and quiet nature they are more suited to an adult household, perhaps a retired couple around most of the time.
Welcoming these sweet souls into your life will be a decision you won’t regret. Your world is about to become so much brighter. Oops, we forgot to say they do snore!! So maybe not quieter!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
