About Crank 🎅
This darling little man is Crank....he's almost 6 years old and a Foxie x Maltese mix weighing just 6kg. He's currently in care with 3 other small dogs, cats and of course his foster family, which includes young children. Crank gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home but does think chasing the cats is a game, so may be best in a home without them!
Prior to him coming into care, Crank was living with another bigger dog and children. He adores the kids and absolutely loves his soft toys and balls. He gets so excited when you get home and will do zoomies around the yard in excitement. He loves to play hide and seek with treats in the yard and this is a great way to keep him occupied if left for short periods, but ideally, this sweet little boy will need either human company or another doggie companion in his new home. Crank walks well on leash and very much enjoys his outings with the family.
Crank can be a little bit of a barker, but is easily distracted and will listen to instructions. He's a very sweet boy and although he's settled into his foster home quite well, he's very much missing his family. He is currently living both inside and outside, although does get a little cheeky if given too much opportunity inside and will need ongoing training with toileting outside. He is currently sleeping indoors alongside his 2 foster friends (Frankie & Bosco - also available for adoption) or snuggled up next to his foster mum in bed.
Crank will be turning 6 on the 1st January 2020 and would be lovely to see him spending his birthday and Christmas with his new family. He would be the perfect addition to a home with children who are gentle and respectful of animals, working from home parents or an older retired person. Having another little doggie companion would be wonderful for this little man, but not a deal breaker if he had the company of his humans around.
Crank has had all his vet work done and ready to fing a place to call home. He is located in Bateau Bay on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
