Memphis

Memphis came to the shelter as a stray and was a little nervous to start with, but that is common when cats arrive in a trap. It did not take long for him to show his true (and very vibrant) colours.

Memphis is a big playful, active boy. He thinks everything is a toy and everyone should be entertaining him. The only thing he has shown a negative reaction to is other cats. We're not sure what happened to him when he was on the streets, but it has made him not like the looks (or smells and sounds) of other cats.

If you're considering taking Memphis in, we would suggest getting a large cat tower, having a few different places for him to run, play and climb, and even getting a cat harness and taking him for an occasional walk. We would like Memphis to be an inside cat, as his dislike for other cats may lead to a fight which can cause all sorts of problems for him.
