Buddy

Buddy is an exceptionally happy, friendly dog who always has a smile on his face. He is a Kelpie x Coolie and 8yo. While he has only been with us for a short period of time, Buddy has shown he is remarkably well behaved at the vet, happy to be touched all over and great to groom. Buddy has grown up with cats in his house and is very friendly with them. He is currently being fostered in a home with two dogs, he behaves well around the dogs, often more interested in humans than the other dogs. As a younger dog, Buddy was involved in a car accident and subsequently has had one front leg amputated. He deals very well without his leg, still being happy and bouncy in his personality. Buddy still very much enjoys playing and chasing a ball. Buddy could do well in a variety of different homes however we believe he would be best in a home with a companion present at most times. Buddy will require limited walking and a home without many stairs due to his physical capabilities. Buddy is untested with children.
