About Olive DL2343
"HI! My name is Olive. I'm looking for a foster home and to make it easier, here is a list of my favourite things:
- Cuddles
- Belly rubs
- Rolling in freshly mowed grass
- FOOD !"
Olive is the biggest sweetheart you’ll ever come across! She was very scared while in the pound, but since getting her foster home she has started to come out of her shell. She can still wary of strangers, and will bark initially, but once she gets to sniff you, she'll be your best friend forever and be begging for cuddles and belly scratches.
Olive will do anything for treats. She luuuuurves her food. Because Olive is so eager to please, she is pretty easy to train and has got "sit", "down" and "wait" down-pat! She is now walking well on lead and is looking for a family who will be committed to her ongoing training.
Olive is looking for a child-free and pet-free home while she regains her confidence, and would be best suited to someone that is home more often than not with tall fences to keep her safe. Dog-savvy and calm teenagers may be OK for this darling. When she gets excited, she does tend to jump a bit, but is quickly learning that she gets loves faster if she keeps all four paws on the floor.
Olive loves a game of fetch and is so clever that she will even bring the ball back to you! She's quite an active girl and so does need plenty of exercise. Although active, she's more of a sprinter than a marathon runner, so a good game of fetch to run around and a nice long walk is her favourite type of exercise. Then at the end of the day, it is, of course, time for belly scratches and cuddles until bed time.
If Olive sounds like your perfect girl, please email DFL today to apply.
Medical notes
Skin allergies. Olive has had surgery to fix her eyelid as it was rolling in and causing irritation.
