About Poppy
POPPY is doing so well. She has put weight on and had recently for desexing and for a partial tail amputation (due to a previous break + infection that had never healed). We have been having a bit of a joke that the general public who meet Poppy will now comment 'What a nice Boxer you have .... ' ?? (with her stumpy white tail).
Poppy enjoys 'helping' with in the garden at her foster home. She enjoys plenty of pats and cuddles whilst gardening, and she isn't even scared of the whipper snipper.
It's time to find Poppy a foster / forever home of her own. Where she is currently being fostered, Poppy is being kept separate to her personal dogs - whilst this has been amazing so that Poppy could come into the rescue urgently, it's not practical for too much longer.
Friendly with other dogs? Poppy has been ok on lead when meeting other dogs outside of the home, but she needs a home for herself without existing pets
Friendly with cats? We don't think Poppy has ever lived with a cat so not the best idea
Good with Children? Poppy lived with kids previously and we're not aware of any concerns
If you can help with giving Poppy a forever or foster home please get in contact https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply - Victoria only please.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
