About Gracie
Our darling Gracie is still searching for her forever home. She has been in foster care for 10 months now and although her foster family love her like one of their own, she really would love her own family who can help her continue to regain her trust in humans.
Gracie arrived at Save The Pets as a truly terrified girl. She had not long just been separated from her own kittens, and it was obvious that some humans had treated her much less than kindly in her past. It has taken a long time for Gracie to realise that pats, food, and love is for her. She is still unsure about most people, but will secretly accept pats, smooches and even come on the bed for some comfort in the middle of the night (as long as you don’t tell her you know that she is there)!
Gracie is looking for a quiet, strictly inside only home where her new family can keep loving her and showing her the good side of domestic life, but also encourage her to continue to come out of her comfort zone to realise that us humans aren’t so bad. Gracie still requires a lot of time and patience but seeing her comfortable and happy, playing and scratching, and enjoying her life is worth every second you spend working to gain her trust.
Gracie is approximately two years old and is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea and worm treated. She is fine with other cats and gentle dogs.
