If your cat is missing a playmate,then Christopher is your man!
He hates being alone and adores playing with other cats and or following you around like your own personal shadow, he is very inquisitive and will catchat with you all day if you don't listen🤣
As mentioned Christopher is a special needs cat.
After being found dumped at the door of a local shop, he was brought into CARMAR and has fought very hard to stay alive in his first 3 months of life, but now after numerous vet visits, tests and more tests our prefered Veterinarian Dr Jude Mulholland from Farrier Vet in Lancaster, diagnosed him with a very rare condition only normally found in purebred cats.
Its called 'Chlostridium Parfringens'.
It is a rare gut bacteria that is not curable but is definately manageable with a strict diet.
Which is exactly what Christopher has been thriving on since finally being diagnosed 5 months ago.
We've had a few backward steps since, but we now have the perfect diet regimè for his new FUREVER family to follow.
It is very simple, but must be strictly adhered too, for life.
Twice a day meals as follows;
0.5ml Protexin Blue Probiotic with his food.
Beef mince (human grade)
Or Boiled chicken .
Small amounts of grainfree dried cat bikkies.
That's it.
No other foods allowed for they disrupted the gut bacteria and make him very sick very quickly and A vet visit may ensue.
So with this in mind it is highly recommended that Christopher's new FURREVER family have him as 24/7 inside cat only, preferably with access to a catnip cat enclosure so he can still enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and get that all important sunshine on his glossy coat each day!
If you feel you are the sort of person who can give this fabulous little guy the special care he needs to have best life after his horrid start, please call us for further information or click on his petrescue link below and follow the prompts.
We hope to hear from a very special kind of person or family very soon.
